# NoiNe Privacy Policy

NoiNe provides account sign-in, messaging, voice and video calls, file sharing, social posts, notifications and safety controls.

## Data We Collect

- Account data: phone number, display name, avatar, signed-in devices and app settings.

- User content: messages, photos, videos, files, posts, comments, notes and call-related metadata created in the app.

- Location data: only when the user actively shares a location or enables location sharing in a conversation.

- Device data: push notification tokens, VoIP notification tokens, platform and device name for login/session security and notifications.

- AI settings: whether AI features are enabled and whether message context may be used when the user explicitly starts an AI action.

## How We Use Data

We use this data to authenticate users, deliver messages and calls, send notifications, sync app settings, protect accounts, support safety controls and provide user-requested AI features.

## Sharing

NoiNe does not sell user data. Data may be processed by infrastructure providers used to operate the service, such as hosting, database, push notification, storage and realtime call providers. These providers must protect user data consistently with this policy.

## Retention And Deletion

Users can delete their account in the app from Settings > Privacy & data > Delete account. Account deletion disables sign-in, revokes devices and push tokens, hides the public profile and removes local offline data from the device. User-created content is deleted or anonymized where supported by the service. Some records may be retained when needed for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance or to preserve conversation integrity for other participants.

## Permissions

NoiNe asks for camera and microphone access for QR scanning and voice/video calls, photo library access for choosing media, location access for voluntary location sharing and notifications for messages and incoming calls.
